About Me

Biography

First of all, thank you so much for supporting my music and viewing my website. Music has always been a big part of my life. I learned to play by listening to piano and guitar renditions from artists like Sungha Jung, Yiruma, Kotaro Oshio, and Satoshi Gogo.  As online tutorials were less prominent back then, I taught myself how to play those renditions by countlessly watching their videos and mimicking their posture, style, look and feel, and adding my own flair to it. This has formed the basis of how I play fingerstyle techniques on the ukulele today.

As of now, I divide my music project into two parts.

The first part entails all things ukulele: my teaching, arranging fingerstyle ukulele covers and uploading them on my YouTube channel and this website.

The second part is about my career as a singer and songwriter, contributing as a topliner in the EDM scene [house - drum & bass - techno]. I also try to use the ukulele in the instrumentals wherever I can and upload singing covers. With this step, I hear the words of my passed-away cousin/brother, ringing in my head: “Yo, make this ukulele thing something and try to merge it with EDM or something. This way I can hopefully meet Martin Garrix one day!”

Even though he passed away from cancer after that, I took this to the heart and also combined it with my personal love for electronic dance music.

Thank you for supporting my career throughout.
Let’s smash it.
